I am a 5th Grade teacher at a Jewish day school in the Atlanta, GA area. I have only been teaching for four years. Before my new life as a teacher, I was a freelance needlework designer.

I have two grown, married children. My eldest, a daughter, has three children. So, three little people in this world call me “Nana!”

I started this blog in conjunction with a course called Learning 2.0, wherein I am learning slowly how to incorporate Web 2.0 tools into my teaching and into my own lifelong learning.

The photo in my header was taken at Piha Beach on the north island of New Zealand, where my husband and I vacationed in 2004. I absolutely love that country, and hope to return again someday soon!
